"Chobe Giants" Botswana is a land of great deserts. Water is more precious than the large reserves of diamonds that sustain the economy of this Nation. On a recent visit to the Chobe National Park, we spent much time observing the plentiful elephants that inhabit this sunbaked sanctuary. Amongst the many breeding herds, we encountered the occasional herd of bachelors. The three here were larger than most and seemed relaxed and comfortable in each other's company. Their end of the day bath and drink was a joy to behold!
